Colorado Hockey Now

We’ve got another highly anticipated at Ball Arena on a Sunday night.

This time, it’s the Avalanche and the suddenly hot New York Islanders. We’ve got a returning Jonathan Droin facing off against the Avs. We have Brock Nelson facing his former team for the first time. And there’s also Matthew Schaefer, a rising start among defensemen, who, at just 18 years old, is the only blueliner with more goals than Cale Makar.

The first meeting between Schaefer and Makar should also be a doozy.

Moving on to a recap from Saturday night, injuries galore around the NHL. It starts with a notable defenseman for Colorado’s biggest threat in the Central Division.
