Inside the Avs’ Locker Room: Grubauer says “One of the weirdest games I’ve played in a long time”

Some uncut audio from the Avalanche dressing room after the 5-3 victory over the Flames tonight.

Four players, plus the coach.

A few other notes before we cue the tapes:

  • Great crowd tonight. For those of you there, you were loud. The players definitely got a boost from it.
  • My podcast should finally be ready to present in a normal way in a day or two. Well, I hope anyway. I’ve had a lot of red tape with the mechanics of it starting out with the first two episodes. All kinds of hoops to jump through when you start a podcast. It has aggravated me quite a bit, but it’s the system. The pods will always be free, at least.
  • I will have a film room analyst soon. Stay tuned.

OK, some uncut audio:

First up, Philipp Grubauer talking about a game in which he had to be really, really busy in the end, after being really, really bored in the beginning:

GRUBAUER:

Next up, Joonas Donskoi, talking about quite the successful Avs debut (two goals):

DONSKOI:

MIKKO RANTANEN

CONOR TIMMINS

JARED BEDNAR
