Dater’s Daily: Nichushkin Back At Avalanche Practice; Ducks Suffer Another Big Blow

Last night’s sugar-induced rush ended late with the little guy crashing at about nine o’clock. I think he was too excited from all of the candy and the rush of trick or treating. The dog got a couple of pieces of candy, making for a long night. The Avalanche are back to practice today … or this morning for people in Colorado and we will get a clear view of where the roster stands in the next day or two. On to some Avalanche and league news. …Valeri Nichushkin was back at Avalanche practice in Finland. That’s some good news right there.

  • Along with Nichushkin, Gabe Landeskog made the trip to Finland, and was part of a contingent that visited the Finnish embassy.

  • Some of the boys also took a polar plunge of sorts:

  • NHL: Jamie Drysdale could be done for the entire season for Anaheim with a torn labrum in his left shoulder. He is expected to miss 4-6 months.
