Avalanche Nichushkin

Colorado Avalanche hockey is officially back. With the preseason starting on Sunday afternoon, the team will return to game action for the first time since losing in the first round to the Seattle Kraken.

Speaking of that, Valeri Nichushkin spoke to the media for the first time since leaving the team abruptly back in April, and some of the new acquisitions are ready for a new challenge.

Here’s a look back at what you might have missed the previous week at CHN, and a peak at what’s coming.

Ross Colton and Tomas Tatar spoke to the media for the first time, and are ready to do whatever they need to do to help the Avalanche.

In Vegas, the team went undefeated in the prospect tournament, with Oskar Olausson finally breaking out in the last game.

The camp roster was released, and one PTO didn’t end up making it because they failed their physical.

At media day, we were given a roundup of all the injuries Colorado is still dealing with, and Gabriel Landeskog spoke about his rehab.
