Colorado Avalanche hockey is officially back. With the preseason starting on Sunday afternoon, the team will return to game action for the first time since losing in the first round to the Seattle Kraken.

Speaking of that, Valeri Nichushkin spoke to the media for the first time since leaving the team abruptly back in April, and some of the new acquisitions are ready for a new challenge.

Here’s a look back at what you might have missed the previous week at CHN, and a peak at what’s coming.

Monday

Ross Colton and Tomas Tatar spoke to the media for the first time, and are ready to do whatever they need to do to help the Avalanche.
