Dater Column: This is Deepest Avalanche Team I’ve Seen in Last 20 Years

I’ll never forget what one of the top sources said in my lead-up to the story the day the Quebec Nordiques were sold to the owners of the Denver Nuggets, on May 25, 1995. Denver, my source said, was going to get “one hell of a hockey team.”
